But some researchers are occupied with evenly that figure and found the following out: Its nut/mother Pythais, natives from Samos, became acquainted with its father Mnesarchus - a wholesale dealer from Greece, when on Samos a hunger emergency prevailed. Mnesarchus brought grain after Samos, and from gratitude for it he was appointed the honour citizen. In addition, Pythagoras spent its childhood with its two brothers on Samos, traveled with its father. It was a well educated child and learned Dichtkunst to play the lyra and controlled Homer's of works. Its teachers were all together philosophers, who affected its recent life considerably. As Pythagoras' of most important teachers is considered Pherekydes, which is called of experts the teachers Pythgoras'. These three philosophers were it also, who opened the world of mathematics for it. Around 535 before Christ Pythagoras fled to Egypt, since there was a rebellion and a change of power on Samos. The Polykraten took over power, and it means that they were disliked by Pythagoras with the society. Pythagoras visited many temples and spoke with the priests, but that was soon forbidden to him, since the Polykraten had good connections to the Egyptians. But in Dispolis one granted it the membership in the priest shank. Later the Persian king Cambyses II an invasion led ten years against Egypt. Pythagoras was kidnapped after the legendary battle of Pelusium as a convict after Babylon. 520 before Christ return Pythagoras to Samos. The Polykraten had been killed and the Persian king committed rumors after suicide, so that Pythagoras a return did not fall heavily. But this return should last not for a long time, because two years later it left the island again and went to Crotone into Italy.
